Little People Need Custom Shirts

If your body is not the “standard” size, you’re going to have trouble finding clothes. Shirts, suits, shoes and pants will never quite fit. When you buy a suit you expect some alterations and pants can be adjusted too. Some shoe stores have shoes for very large feet and if your feet are very small, perhaps a child’s shoe will fit.

Shirts however are another matter. If you are short, say under 56 and overweight, the big and tall shops wont have anything that really fits you. The sleeve length will be too long and the shoulders will hang off your frame. Basically you will look like youre wearing your fathers shirt. If you have other physical challenges, such as being a dwarf or a little person or if you are very skinny, you will search endlessly for shirts that will fit, only to be disappointed.

While it’s true that looks aren’t everything, in our society they do count for something. And if you’re not trying to look as good as you could, people will notice and they may not say anything, but your opportunities for success will be reduced. There is a relatively simple and inexpensive solution to this problem, get custom tailored shirts.

You probably think that custom tailoring is expensive and it’s hard to find a good tailor. That was true in the old days but today, with the advent of the internet, getting a custom tailored shirt is easy.

I know you’ve heard that having a shirt custom made is hugely expensive. Yes, it can be. But right now, you can get custom made, tailored shirt that fits you perfectly for as little as $30 - $50. You may be paying that much or more for your standard shirts that don’t fit you very well. If you work in an office, then you know that how you look can have a bearing on getting a promotion or a raise. Nobody has to know that you bought a custom shirt, but they will notice that there’s something different about you.

Think about it, if your arms are 28 long, your neck is 17 and your waist is 48 youre never going to find a shirt that fits. If your arms are 33, your neck is 12 and your waist is 20 inches, off the rack shirts are going to make you look like a little boy playing dress up with his daddys clothes. If the length of your trunk (shoulders to waist) is only 18 and your arm length is 22 then maybe you can find something in the childrens clothing section, but is that really the best answer for your problem?

Custom tailoring is the answer. You measure your neck, arms, trunk, waist, shoulders and choose the fabric, the style, the colors and the buttons. The shirt is made to fit you and only you. When you wear it you know you look good and people will notice. They probably wont say anything overt like, Is that a custom shirt? But they will notice that you look more professional, more stylish and more competent.
