Designers are now listening loud and clear to fathers needs everywhere. Make me a diaper bag that doesn’t make me look like Im wearing a purse, is the cry that dads have been silently screaming all these years. Well maybe not that silently because dads everywhere now can have a messenger bag that looks cool and is also a diaper bag.

I can remember it like it was yesterday. I was out alone with the kids and off to the amusement park. Mom was out of town so I was on my own. Eagerly, I got out the stroller and the kids when I saw it. My wife’s floral print, bright green, silk diaper bag was staring me in the face. I didn’t want to take it out of the trunk but I also didn’t want to carry the kids stuff around in a supermarket plastic bag either. Reluctantly I decided to take the bag but I didn’t wear it and insecurely carried like a man carrying a woman’s purse.
