Children’s Boots Are Stupid Expensive For Most Parents
March 8th, 2010 by Aimee Jones
For your sake I hope you haven’t gone shopping for baby clothes lately because you will quickly find that they are way more expensive than they really should be. The worst offender in this category is actually baby shoes.
Baby shoes are one of those things that truly shouldn’t price as a lot as they do, that, somehow they end up costing a fortune. I was shocked to locate that Nike and other major companies like that definitely sell baby shoes for as considerably as they sell adult shoes. It is such a rip off.
Were talking about a few inches worth of actual fabric and materials, yet, they cost as much as a full-size pair of shoes. I suppose that many parents are willing to spend an absolute fortune to make their kids happy. Or at least to look cool, but I don’t really see why they would. It’s pointless.
Babies outgrow their shoes so fast that it’s incomprehensible to me to consider that you would expend thirty dollars for a pair of shoes that your child is only heading to wear for several months. I’ve seen some shoes that are even much more high priced, and these aren’t even like the genuinely high priced brands. It would be simple for a parent to spend hundreds of dollars on shoes for their child before they even reach age 6.
Why on earth would anyone do this to themselves? It just doesn’t seem right. Most the time your youngsters aren’t going to care about their shoes at all until they have to begin tying the laces. Now, if you get your kid a pair of Superman shoes, your child might consider he’s gonna fly, but overall, I don’t consider your youngsters or most kids are heading to care. It’s not like the other youngsters are to appear at them and say. Oh man your shoes are awesome! That’s just not how young children are. That’s not how they believe.
It’s sad that we live in a world where parents are so interested in what other mom and dad think of their youngsters that they don’t even seem to care what their own young children imagine of themselves. Moms and dads are so excited about making sure that their kid dresses a particular way that they never ask the child what they want.
Save yourself the cash and just buy them a nice pair of shoes from a thrift store. Or maybe Payless shoes. Put the funds towards something that makes a lot more sense.
