It is difficult to forget our school uniform. For several years, we are forced to wear the school uniforms. I am not against this practice at all as it helps to promote unique identity among the children.

Students often want to belong to a social grouping. In school, they belong to certain gangs. The popularity of such gangs has risen in recent years. Students adopt similar dressing styles to affiliate themselves to a gang.

Students often have different cultural backgrounds. A uniform helps remove all the socio-economic and cultural barriers among the children. It is important to make them all feel a part of the same society.

Uniforms also develop a sense of pride for the school among the children. They want to belong to social groups and school can be on the top of them. With uniforms, they will have a pride to be part of a common social group.

There are various disadvantages of wearing your own clothes. The first thing is loss of discipline. It is important to make sure that individuality is not determined by the latest fashion and designer clothes.

A school is not the place to show off the latest fashion. The children should better be in uniforms than in their own clothes. Students also do not have to worry about what they are going to wear the next day and can simply wear their uniform every day.

So, You need to design your engagement ring…

And yet…

You have to realize several factors before you start building, one of the several points you’ll want to know will be diamonds.

You will at least want a basic understanding of exactly what to find inside a gemstone. What exactly is critical and what is not.

The 4 Cs are Carat, Cut, Clarity, and Color.

Let us start out through covering Carat. This is a measurement of your stone’s weight. Obviously The bigger the better, nevertheless there are a few things to keep in mind about Carat weight.

On the popular television show “The Dog Whisperer” we see a man who has a remarkable ability to communicate with dogs, and train them as well. The book “The Man Who Listens to Horses” relays a similar story about a man who is able to do the same thing with horses. This book was written by Monty Roberts, and it takes the reader on a journey into the internal workings of a horse’s mind. In this article I offer up my opinion of the book, and will hit upon what I think are some of the highlights other readers will enjoy reading about.

Monty Roberts has a love of horses, and he sure has a story to tell. He grew up with an abusive father, and this abuse not only extended to him, but to horses as well. This abuse formed a strong impression on Monty when he was young, and as he grew older he started to formulate an opinion that there must be a better way to communicate with the horses that he loves so much.

The “join-up” technique is the author’s technique to break and train horses. The book goes into great detail on the process, but here it is in a nutshell. You need a round pen and an unbroken horse to start. The handler will stand in the middle of the pen in a very authoritative and imposing way, while the horse is encouraged to run around the pen in attempts to get away. During the process the handler will be looking for signs that the horse wishes to communicate with him. These three signs are:

The horse will turn his closest ear to the handler towards him/her.

The horse will begin a process of licking and chewing.

The horse will lower his head near to the ground as he runs around the pen.

At this point the handler will turn his back on the horse and move away. The horse will then usually come closer to the handler, and allow the handler to touch him/her. At this point, the handler is well on his way to the process of: saddling, bridling, mounting, and riding.

In addition to the “join-up” technique, the book takes us on a journey of Robert’s life as well. We learn of the various stages of his life, how he developed his horse techniques, and what has made him into the man that he is today. Some of the highlights in the book are:

-His successful childhood riding career

-The author’s relationship with his father

-The development of the author’s Thoroughbred racehorse facility

-Meeting Queen Elizabeth II of England

-Wild deer and the use of the “join-up” technique

-His experience with mustang horses
